Daisy , Daisy, Daisy I can’t get that advert tune out of my head , ha ha everytime I pick up the Cheerful Daisies bundle it makes me sing it.
How was your weekend? What did you get upto? It sure was a wonderful weekend we had here in the UK, A mini heatwave the garden is loving the sun, sadly we only get sun in the back during the morning and mid day, then shade comes, So when it’s time to relax before making Dinner it’s all gone over the house and in the front, not keen on sitting out on the drive but never mind the bees are lunching merrily on the Daisy plants and Peonie flowers it’s quite a lovely sound and sight.
Right onto the weekly challenge over at Global Design Project Challenge Blog HERE, which is a Sketch challenge this week.
Cheerful Daises Die Set| Sketch Challenge!
What a lovely sketch to work with I started with leftover die cuts of another project I shared with you recently, Being watercolour card I just simply used a water painter brush and added some ink from my ink pad that I squished on a clear block, I added water to the die cut and then picked up the ink from the clear block and light in swishing movements added the colour to the die cut.
Colours I used are Pool Party for the flowers and retired but a fave of mine Soft Succulent for the leaves. The sentiment is also retired (sorry) it’s from the Many Messages bundle and I had stamped up a load of them and stashed them in a cello bag for future use when i need something in a hurry!
The white mat has been embossed with the lovely embossing folder from the BASICS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDERS item code 161598 that’s an online exclusive you can purchase in my online shop.
