Hello Stampin friends,
I hope you have had a great weekend, there was somewhere here in the UK some Sun, I didn’t notice much here in KENT though , ha ha!! I have lots to share today, including a previous post posted using this stamp set earlier today here!
The weekly challenge over at Global Design Project Challenge Blog HERE is a sketch with a twist. We are making slimline cards with the sketch.
Cheerful Daisies
I love slimline cards and I am also really am loving the Cheerful Daisies Bundle at the minute, and I focussed on the dies on this card. I had some left over die cuts from some swaps I made for a UK Demonstrators group, so waste not want not. Some of the left overs had sections cut off so I used that to add to my design, Half a leaf was left on the die cut I used but it works well hanging off the page as I call it.
I used a simple but very effective watercolour technique which I will be sharing on my Facebook Live and Youtube this evening, please do pop by and be sure to say Hi so I can say Hi to you too!
I used Sweet Sorbet ink with a water painter for the flowers, on the die cut which has been cut using watercolour card then Parakeet Party for the leaves,and Gray granite for the random leaves stamped onto the background! Pebble Path was used for the sentiment. The splatters were created using the Light Pebble Path stampin blend.
