I hope you have had a lovely weekend, Myself I have been playing with watercolour!
Do you like using watercolour techniques in your papercrafting? I love it though I haven’t watercolored for a good while as I love the Stampin Blends to colour with, but now and then I am inspired to created with water and ink.
The weekly challenge over at Global Design Project Challenge Blog HERE, is a CASE Challenge and we are CASING my lovely Artisan Alumni friend Ann from Bellestampinwithann.
Petal Park Stamp Set!
The background on Ann’s beautiful card reminded me of a watercolour colour wash technique and this inspired me to create a colour wash for my own background.
I used ink refills to create the colour wash, To create this I squirted a small drop in to a bead tray added a bit of water to water down the strength of colour.
I brushed clean water over the Fluid100 watercolour card, then added the colour, you can see how I did this in the video below.
I loved the black n white images that Ann used, So I stamped the Petal Park images onto basic white card and left without colour, as I thought they popped perfectly against the striking colours in the colourwash I created.
