Hello Friends,

I write this as I watch the late Queen arriving in Edinburgh accompanied by her Daughter Princess Anne, it’s so very sad to see. The Queen loved the outdoors and at her Balmoral Residence there were lots of Red Squirrels running around the estate. It’s said that Prince Phillip asked for a 5 mile and hour speed limit on the entrance of estate for the safety of the Red Squirrels.

Today’s project is using the The Nuts About Squirrels stamp set once again, I can’t seem to put it down it’s just far too cute!

Nuts About Squirrels| Sketch Challenge!

I love sketches, they are one of my favourite go to’s when I need inspiration, and Freshly Made sketches never disappoints.

Now you may think my card looks nothing like the sketch, But my interpretation is interesting, Let me explain! I have flipped the sketch on its side, and the two Squirrels from the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set are my oblong shapes. See how their tails cross over just like the oblongs in the sketch.

The sentiment is placed just as the sketch suggests. Look at the Squirrel on the right eyeing up that Acorn whilst the other one is chomping away on his, too cute!

The splats in the background are from the Color & Contour Stamp set.

I hope you like my creation and that I have inspired to create something using the sketch too.
