This week’s theme is a Colour Challenge over a Global Design Project Challenge Blog #gdp312, What fab colours we have for you. Colours are Real Red, Sahara Sand, Basic Black.
Nature’s Harvest.
I made a bit of a boo boo with the colours and grabbed Cherry Cobbler patterned papers by mistake but have used Real Red Stampin Blends for colouring, I love how a thin strip of that beautiful Gold Specialty Paper adds a bit of texture, it has a grainy effect and really sparkles in real life.
I stamped in versamark the flower image to the bottom half of the Sahara Sand Card Blank, it gives it just a subtle background effect.
I stamped some splats from the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set in Sahara sand, I inked up the image and stamped it off onto some scrap copy paper and then without reinking stamped on to my 8cm x 12cm piece of Basic White layer.
I stamped the flower onto scrap white card in Tuxedo Memento Ink and coloured the leaves in smokey slate blends and the flowers with a touch or flirty Flamingo and Real Red blends. The sentiment is from the All Squared up Stamp set. Whilst the stems and leaves are glued flat to the mat the flower heads themselves are raised up on Dimensionals, as is the sentiment.
I finished with splats of Wink Of Stella and Seqiuns from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack.
