It’s all about leaves over at Global Design Project Challenge Blog his week, and what a fab theme it is too, I have used die cuts as my main focal point, with a stamped sentiment a very simple card with simple techniques.
Healing Thoughts with Harvest Meadow
Sometimes I like to make get well cards or pick me up cards, and the sentiment I have used from the Nature’s Harvest Set is just perfect for that and coupled with leaves and flowers what more a better way than to help bring a smile than nature itself so I love the theme this week..
I love the background which was made using Ink Pads and Blending Brushes, Colours I have used, starting with the lightest first, Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point. I then die cut from the Meadow Dies (which you can purchase HERE as a bundle with 10% off), some leaves in Basic White, glued flat and then sprinkled with Wink Of Stella and dots of white gel pen and a few sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack HERE.
The card below uses, Soft Seafoam, Pear Pizzazz, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green.
