Welcome to another Simple Stamping Sunday,
Today in the UK it’s full of snow, sadly only a smidgen of Snow in Dartford, However there was plenty of rain, and seemingly for the rest of the week booooo!! Have you got Snow?
Do you like Monochromatic cards?
What are Monochromatic cards? Here is a a short summary:
Monochromatic colours are all the colours (tones, tints and shades) of a single hue.Example of a monochromatic colour scheme
Monochromatic colour schemes are derived from a single base hue and extended using its shades, tones and tints. Tints are achieved by adding white and shades and tones are achieved by adding a darker colour, grey or black.
I chose to use Granny Apple Green Card stock and Ink for my simple stamping card, It uses the FREE Oh So Ombre Designer Series Papers as my main mat, The different tones from light to dark of the same colour is so pretty.
Firstly I stamped directly onto the mat with two images from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set. I then adhered the stamped mat to the white mat and wrapped Linen Thread around and secured in a bow.
Next I stamped the happy and the Birthday on Scrap paper, Whilst I punched out the birthday I decided to fussy cut style of the happy sentiment.
The mat sizes are Ombre paper 8cm x 12cm, White Mat 8.3cm x 12.3 cm. Card blank is 14.8cm x 21cm and scored at 10.5cm on the 21cm side.
