Today I want to share a card I made on my facebook live last night HERE.
I am entering this card in to the Global Design Project Challenge #275 HERE which is a Theme challenge this week. Oh by the way did I tell you my card last week was one of the Winner, how exciting! This card HERE was one of the winners!
Here is the theme from Global Design Project.
I adore the new Blending Brushes from Stampin Up! far better results than the cheap makeup brushes I purchased a while ago I have to say.
When I first saw the beautiful Stamp Set Friends Are Like Seashells my mind was awash with ideas and couldn’t wait to use it.
I love the look of the variation of colours in the blending Ombre look coupled with the random stamped images in Pool Party Ink on the Shimmery White Card Mat, flicks of Water and Wink Of Stella finish it off perfectly.
I used three different shades of blue on this card, Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Pretty Peacock. The Layer measurements are Pretty Peacock 8.3cm x 12.3cm, Shimmery White or Whisper White 8cm x 12cm. Card blank is A4 cut in half vertically at 10.5cm and the scored on the longer side at 14.8cm.
I used the Hippo and Friends Dies for the sentiment layer in Basic White, and the sentiment comes from the Friends Are like Seashells stamp set.
