Sponging and Water Flicking Technique …..   Stampin Up!

Today’s card is using a fun technique of sponging onto water colour card stock and water flicking onto the dried ink.

I layered three co ordinating inks Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss and Blueberry Bushel. I chose these deep rich colours to co ordinate with a gift for a team member called Jan Brown who recently promoted to Gold Title.

Once I did an Ombre effect with the three colours, starting with Rich Razzelberry, then onto Blackberry Bliss finishing with the Blueberry Bliss, I then flicked some versamark refill fluid and chucked some Gold Embossing powder onto it.

I then used the large Letter Framelits to cut out the word Gold,  I layered the Ink piece to some Gold Mirri Card, and cut out the word Amazing from Gold Mirri too, and adhered this to the ink piece.  I just stamped part of a sentiment ‘you’ and adhered to the card front using dimensionals and the stuck the whole thing to fabulous new colour Gorgeous Grape.

A simple technique yet packs a wow punch!

Bye for now do pop by soon , I have loads to share.
