I have been playing with a Brand New Autumn stamp set, That’s not just for Autumn or Sunflowers either, This set was given to me in Thailand, and was one of the perks of an Incentive Trip Achiever (Boy what have I been missing all these years),.
Anyhow, when I saw this set I just fell in love, the first thing I thought of was Christmas How I could make this Sunflower , which I have to say is top of my fave list for Flowers they are just gorgeous , into a Poinsettia.
Easy peasy lemon Squeezy!
I did a very simple card using a layout from another card I have made which I will show you in a couple of days, the layout worked well so why not, ..
A little sad that you can’t see the beauty of the sparkly wink of stella in the photos, but you can imagine that lovelyness as I am sure you all have a brush of Wink of Stella, 😏.
The colours I have used are Real Red for first layer of flower and Cherry Cobbler for second layer of flower, So Saffron edged with Crushed Curry for the centre of Flowers,
Garden Green for the leaves first layer and then tranquil tide stamped off then stamped for the second layer, It works rather well I think.
The scalloped edging comes from a die in the Seasonal Layers thinlits dies.
Both finished off with the gorgeous Iridescent Sequins #144212
The sentiments are from two different upcoming Christmas sets, One comes from a co ordinating Card Kit called Watercolour Christmas and the other from a Die Bundle called Ready for Christmas.
Painted Harvest is a two step Stamping Set, I am enjoying using this, I have made some team appreciation gift packaging using this set, Pop back later this week to see those!!
