Welcome to the Stampin Creative Global Blog Hop!

This months theme is Whatever the Weather, which at the minute in the UK, is just fine and dandy!!

At the minute I am loving pottering about in my garden, which to be fair I neglected last year, so Lockdown time gave me the perfect opportunity to give it some loving. Thankfully it’s not Wellie Weather so this stamp set was perfect for me for this hop called Under My Umbrella, 

(who else wants to burst into song Rihanna style when you say that?)

So lets get to the hop, 

I started out using some of our Fluid 100 watercolour paper, sponging firstly in pear Pizzazz and then the edges in Pretty Peacock, and then splattered water from my waterbrush to make water splashes.

I stamped the wellies and flowers in Black Memento and coloured using ink pads and a Blender Pen,, layered up the wellies and one set of flowers for dimension, and glued flat the rest.

I added a strip of patterned paper from the Botanical Prints Medley Kit.

The sentiment on the front comes from the new stamp set called Tasteful Touches, I decorated the inside too and used the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella.  Finished off with Linen Thread and a splatter of Wink of Stella!

I hope you like my project, I am rather pleased with it myself.
