The theme this month is Technique Challenge – Watercolour Backgrounds! Today I have used the simple Painted Stripes Background Stamp which is more versatile than it looks!
Painted Stripes Background Stamp!
Oh what fun I had creating this card, spritzing, inking, splats the lot!
You can see how I created it HERE on my youtube replay video.
For the background I started by spritzing some watercolour paper with water and then inked up my stamp with two colours, Inking with the lightest colour first Peach Pie, at the top of the stamp and then the bottom half with the darkest colour Calypso Coral.
I then stamped the ink stamp onto the wet watercolour card, lots of splats added for extra added interest. Do check out the video there are lots of tips and tricks especially at the end.
