Today I am blog hopping with the fabulous Stamping Inkspirations Design Team! And we have some amazing inspirations for you. This month is all about Sketches, But with a twist!
The twist being Fresh Air!
Nest of Winter!
Well I have to say I was stumped, this was well and truly a challenge for me for sure. Then I thought oh a winter birthday would be perfect for this, I love the snow when it arrives and here in the UK I just know that will be on the horizon soon enough!
I love to stand out in the garden when it has snowed the cool crisp fresh air is perfect when it snows and living surrounded by a nature reserve there are always plenty of birds around even in the midst of winter so the bird from the Nest of Winter patterned papers was perfect too.
I paired these papers with the beautiful Winter Meadow patterned papers from the Online exclusive section in my online shop which I tore across to show the white core but also following the sketch too for torn edges.
Using the wreath image from the coordinating stamp set of the Nest of Winter patterned papers called Winterly Tree Tops I created the background layer using the same colour ink as the cardstock which is Misty Moonlight such a lovely cool blue just perfect. The sentiment is from the Choose Happy Stamp set a fabulous choice for this card.
