Today I am blog hopping with the fabulous Stampin INKspirations Design Team! And we have some amazing INKspirations for you. Don’t know about you but I love a fun fold, Simple or Intricate who cares they are super fun to make and pack a punch when the recipient opens that envelope!

The theme this month is Fun Folds!
Star Column Fun Fold
This Star Column fun fold design was just perfect for a special card I needed to make!
I will admit terrible to try and photograph eeek!! I was inspired by a beautiful card my friend and team member Bridget made at my team training event in January, It uses one sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and I have used the Natures Sweetness Paper. The monochrome look of this paper with the random gold foil accents in it is beautiful.
The rose image on the front is from the retired sab papers Softly Stippled, which are colourful on the backside of the sheets. I die cut the letters from the Mini Alphabet Die, This is one single die with the Alphabet on it, its just fabulous you can see it HERE.
I brushed some Gray Granite ink on the bottom of the letters, I then daubered some wet glue on the bottom and let it dry to a tacky consistency and applied the Gold Gilded Flakes for some lush luxury effects.
The labels on the back side of the card was created using the Thoughtful Expression dies, and stamped using the Stippled Rose stamp set in Gray Granite ink.
The gorgeous Iridescent Foil Gems added compliment the dies cuts, Gilded Flacks and paper perfectly.

Here’s a fun and original fold! At first I thought it was just a fold on the front, but then I thought. Wow, this lettering is fantastic! Then the last photo really shows the volume of this card and it’s just great! Well done and thanks for sharing! x

There is no distraction between the complexity of the fold and the paper. It’s simplicity complements the fold perfectly. A fabulous fun fold card that I’m sure will be a treasured keepsake.
