Hello My Crafty Friends,
It’s time for Simple Stamping Sunday and it’s Zebras again, this time with a splash of pretty sequins and some linen thread.
Zany was simply stamped in Tuxedo Black ink and coloured around the edges and under his feet with Gray Grainte Stampin Blends.
I chose to use pattern papers in Pacific Point Colour from the Brights Patterned Papers Collection. I adhered the larger strip to the bottom of the card blank m and the smaller strip to the top of smaller white layer.
I started with a piece of Whisper White and marked the bottom in the middle, then either side at 2 cm then took my Paper Snips and cut from that bottom middle mark point up to the side point each side to create a flag, and then stamped my image and sentiment all from the same stamp set, then wrapped the linen thread around the top twice and then secured with a bow.
I finished with some pretty sequins.
Soooo cute I do love the Zany Zebra stamp set!
Card Recipe:
- From a piece of A4 sheet of White Card Stock make a Card Blank measuring 14.8cm x 21cm (you will get two card blanks from one A4 sheet.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White at 12cm x 8cm
- Use Scraps of patterned papers, Pacific Point one piece cut at 10cm x 4cm and one piece cut at 8cm x 1.5cm.
- Linen thread, Sequins.
I hope you enjoyed my simple stamping project and look forward to sharing more simple projects next Sunday.
