Hello my Crafty Friends,
Today I want to share with you a fabulous fun fold card I made for my Mum for Mother’s Day.
This fun fold is called Pop Up Corner or Pop Up Stage Card, I first saw it a year ago on fellow Stampin Up! Demo Mary Deatherage (Stamp and Linger) across the pond You tube HERE , I then came across Gaynor Boyce at Stamp with Joy, HERE both similar but different ways to make it.
You really should give it a try such fun!
This fold does make the most WOW of cards for sure, you can dress it up plenty or dress it down too, either way it will WOW the recipient for sure!
I chose to decorate mine with the lovely Tea Together Stamp Set from the Spring 2019 catalogue a fabulous price at £20.
I am super pleased to tell you this Set has carried over, to the new Annual coming your way in June with some fabulous co ordinating dies too!
I kept it simple in it’s colouring using Light Smokey Slate Blends to add a bit of shaded colouring, Petal Pink and Mint Macron.
The Patterned Papers are retired SAB ones Sorry!
Whilst I fussy cut the images I stamped and coloured you will be able to use the dies when they launch if you so wish!
I didn’t use any other stamps on this card, I did use my Bone Folder to curve the tea pot and Tea Cup to give added dimension, and adhered these using dimensionals. I wanted it to look like I was pouring a cup of tea, Looks cool doesn’t it!
The Tea cup is adhered to a circle folded in half so it stands up using the easel card technique. these were cut using the Stitched Shapes dies which I am super stoked to tell you they are also carrying over.
I do use my bone folder to help the flowers curl too!
I love that this one folds flat for easy posting.
Thank you for popping by, I do hope you enjoyed this project.

Am having difficulty with the circle holding up the tea cup, don’t understand how it works. This is one of those cards that a video would really help. Got everything else. The two top corner folds makes closing it different than the Daisy Delight.??
The Tea cup is adhered to a circle folded in half so it stands up using the easel card technique. I do state this in the post, fold a piece of card and then die cut the circle but pull the die up slightly so the fold stays in place so when you die cut ut it opens up like a circle card blank.and then fold the top circle so that it creates an easel style mini card. Hope that makes sense? It will be difficult for me to do a video as I no longer have that stamp set , but for sure I can do another using a different set that might work so keep your eyes peeled.
Having trouble w/tea cup circle & how that works. A video would be nice for this card.
Nonetheless, it’s so cool.
