Stampin Creative Blog Hop: From the Garden. Stampin’ up!
Make a fabulous Sweet treat card and gift set with using the Petal Palette Suite bundle and Memories and More card packs.
Welcome, I am Kim from Dartford Kent/London borders in U.K you may have popped here via the lovely Pip over at Queen Pip I am sure you have been suitably spoilt with gorgeous creations, so welcome indeed.
This week on the Stampin Creative Blog Hop the theme is From The Garden, and we have some fabulous inspiration for you from the team including two super guest stampers Sandra and Charlet!
Today I have used the Petal Palette Suite and I wanted to share the more in Memories and More Products in this suite, they are not just for Memory Keeping scrapbook you ca use the cards for card making and treat gifts as I show here in the post today…
The pre printed cards can be coloured with various colouring mediums and I chose to use the Stampin Blends, AKA Blendibobs as I call them,,,
The colour ways are quite striking in this project I think, who would have thought to put Pool Party and Peekaboo Peach together but it really works with the pop of black!
The Pool Party mat on the card has been dry embossed with the fabulous Sequins Embossing folder from the spring catalogue, then I coloured the main card piece with Blends. I then cut the edge of another M&M card and attached to the ed of the coloured piece, I then tied some Black Bakers Twine around it and adhered a die cut filigree label from the Petal Palette co ordinating Dies, in Peekaboo Peach card stock, it just gives it that extra textured touch all layered up using dimensionals, and then finished with a splash of wink of stella and sparkly rhinestones, …..
On a recent trip to Ikea for some storage items for my Craft Studio myself and Paul couldn’t resist the meatballs so we just had to stop for lunch, and at the till was a pack of fabulous Bird Ginger Biscuits reduced to 25p a pack (Think left over from Christmas as they have a look of the Twelve days of Christmas about them), so so pretty I just new I wanted to do a little treat bag for them and of course with the theme for today Blog Hop, it was just fate!!
Once again I used the Memories and More pack for the topper, I just folded one in half decorated it to co ordinate with the Card and trimmed another card from the pack for the sentiment.
I do hope I have inspired you all, please do hop off to the next blog which is Sandra at Stampin Studio for some more super inspiration just click below on the flag.
